Ambition and the Concert!

I've always been a huge fan of Wale especially during the Attention Deficit era of his career. What I admire most about him is his drive, hustle and mostly his "Ambition". I understand what people are saying when they say that this album is so different than his debut, but if you don't compare it you'll then learn to like the album for what it is. The album has that sound that fits perfect with his new label home MMG. My favorite song is Don't Hold Your Applause, but I do like Sabotage, White Linen, Lotus Flower Bomb, That Way & DC or Nothing (even though I'm not from DC). I'm so proud of where he's at right now in his career, only so far he can go.

Yesterday evening Wale had a free concert at The Highline Ballroom for the Release of "Ambition" and I got to attend. It was super crazy, people were trying to get in, but only so many could fit in that small venue! I'm just glad I arrived at the time I did because 20 minutes after I got there the line was mad long. What I didn't know would happen was that there would be people showing up and not having a ticket which was a whole other line. I was there for 3 hours waiting to get in and when I did I was super excited! The show was dope because he brought out NeYo, Miguel and Meek Mill to perform and Rick Ross was there showing support. The song that everyone wanted to hear the most was "Bait", but for me any song from him was cool with me. I enjoyed my self so much, I got to see Wale live!

Rihanna "We Found Love"

Love this video and the message she is displaying of a relationship going through the up's and down of love and it bringing on substance abuse and stuff which is what goes on today in most relationships. The styling of the video is what I am drawn to the most like her clothing and the graphics of the video. Also Check out British model Dudley O'Shaughnessy!

Cole World of the Our Future History

Even if I didn't feel like walking to best buy I was going to force myself to anyway and get J. Cole and Jason Derulo's new album. I am a huge J. Cole fan and was super excited about this project since this is his first album Cole World: The Sideline Story. I don't find any disappointments with the album whatsoever. My favorite songs are Can't Get Enough, Lights Please, Mr. Nice Watch, In The Morning, Never Told and Work Out. When I listen to Lost Ones I think Nas for some reason don't know why but I do maybe because he's telling a serious story. He can finally shut them haters up talking about him cause of the lack of album for some time. On the other hand with Jason Derulo I like Future History even though I'm getting a little sick of pop music right now lol. I know on this project he stayed away for shouting out his name and the label in the beginning of the songs with I didn't pay attention to at first until I read someones comments about it, but overall it has international appeal. I love Don't Wanna Go Home, It Girl, That's my Shh, X, and Dumb. I feel like X is going to be a single.

Big Sean on that Beyonce Status

Today I just had to go and get Big Sean and Beyonce's new album and I couldn't decide between just one so I got both. This being Big Sean's debut album  I was pretty please with his work. My Favorite songs on the album are 'My Last'. I Do It, Marvin Gaye & Chardonnay, and Get It. Today He is Finally Famous. Beyonce's 4th album titled 4 is a great body of work. What I'm most pleased with about this album is how she went back to doing more R&B songs. It's a very mature album that I think will do really well on the charts, but is it me or does Run This World (Girls) not fit the album being that it's the last song on the album. Favorite songs of the album are Best Thing I Never Had, Party, Countdown, and End of Time.
