You take a quiz and based on your results they create a box of goodies for your hands and feet in nail care. I received my first box and I absolutely love it! I received two cards one welcoming me to Julep and another with the results of the quiz I took for my first box.

WiShi is a website that creates the ultimate styling dream from items straight within you own personal closet. I know you all are like "no way how can you style what's in my own closet", but it's very simple. All you do is up load pictures of your clothes you want styled or you can download the WiShi App which edits the backgrounds of your pictures for you and you are well on your way to some awesome styling advice.

Kardashian Kollection

I have always been annoyed by celebrities turned fashion designer's. I felt that people should sometimes stay in there lane in whatever they do if it's singing or acting etc. So when I heard that the sisters of the Kardashian family were teaming up with Sears to design the Kardashian Kollection, like some I rolled my eyes and wasn't hearing it. It was until recently that I had finally gotten a chance to see it for myself, and too be honest I was totally surprised at what I saw in the collection. It's a nice mix of lounge/casual wear, professional attire, and more dressy/party pieces along with accessories. So I bought one of there logo design shirts from the collection that I love. Christmas Wishlist 2012

Being that it's almost Christmas I thought I share my Christmas wish list with you guys. I think I got a little cared a long the way. I know that I won;t get all that I want on her or probably not any of it either way I'll be okay.

1. Sports Apparel- I'd say for about four years now I've been really into sports. It started with basketball and now football. These are a few jersey's I would love to have in my collection. Basically to understand I'm a Nuggets and Broncos fan for life, D Howard is my favorite player in the NBA and then R. Westbrook is a player I strongly like behind Howard.
2. Shoes- Riding boots, Vans Sk8-Hi platform, Coltrane boots by Jeffrey Campbell, and Cowboy boots. I'm crazy over boots right now.
3. Electronics & Hair products/tools- New iPad, curlformers , carol's daughter hair products. 

Favorite Natural Hair Products 2012

Since going fully natural this year I haven't tried many products not because I don't want to but only because I'm cheap and some products are out of my price rang at the moment. Here are a list of my favorite products that I currently or have used just haven't repurchased for whatever reason. I ♥ Ronson

When it comes to brands there aren't too many I can say are my favorites and I have actually purchased something from, but for the past years I've been a huge fan of the JcPenny brand I ♥ Ronson. The mix of stylish and sophisticated pieces is what I love about the brand.  It was until this year that I was able to get my hands on some of her pieces and this here is my most recent purchase this pepper green long sleeve blouse with detail collar. This would go great with a faux leather skirt or leggings.

Azealia Banks x 1991

Here is the newest video from rapper Azealia Banks '1991'. Why I love this video so much is because it's so throwback 90s just from the song alone, but it also reminds me of some Madonna mixed with Janet Jackson. I think each artist mentioned also rocked the pant suit in one of their music videos. Azealia never disappoints and always delivers a video that showcases high fashion and glamour.

Puff Puff

Wearing my hair natural means trying many different hairstyles that I wouldn't have been able to wear when my hair was relaxed. So here I decided to rock a high puff pony which is something I wouldn't have ever seen my self wearing, but I love it! Going to wear this style more now that I gave it a try.

A New Year: Dreams & Goals

Sorry for the late new years post, but I didn't wanted to post anymore on this blog because I wanted to just start over... This time I haven't been into the whole new years resolution thing and decided to focus on two important things this year. One, obtaining a job/internship and second paying for school. None of that loosing weight or superficial stuff just focusing on my future. I'm finally at that place where I am happy with myself all around. I also hope to start posting outfit posts as well, but a Happy belated New Years to you all.

Hello December!

It's the first week of December and the last days of school are coming to an end. Finals, last minute projects and enjoying the cold New York air before winter break back home in the south. I'm so in the Christmas mood I can't wait to go home and see my family and relax. I love this time of the year! Look out for my December Christmas list in an upcoming post.

Rachel Bilson x Nylon & Drake x The Source

My thanksgiving break was great! I spent it with my uncle in Maryland. I felt so spoiled... I didn't have to pay a dime for anything. Also I had some really good food! I went to this thrift store and walked away with some nice items. One item in particular I came away with was this amazing dress! Not pictured are the two sweaters and cardigan that I got as well.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Take this day as time to reflect on all of the things that you are thankful for in your life, but you can do this any day of the year not just today. I have so much to be thankful for like my parents who help finance me through college right now. I watched this documentary on the crack epidemic of the 80s and early 90s and it made me really appreciate growing up in good household. Hope you have fun and enjoy the food because I know I will!

Ambition and the Concert!

I've always been a huge fan of Wale especially during the Attention Deficit era of his career. What I admire most about him is his drive, hustle and mostly his "Ambition". I understand what people are saying when they say that this album is so different than his debut, but if you don't compare it you'll then learn to like the album for what it is. The album has that sound that fits perfect with his new label home MMG. My favorite song is Don't Hold Your Applause, but I do like Sabotage, White Linen, Lotus Flower Bomb, That Way & DC or Nothing (even though I'm not from DC). I'm so proud of where he's at right now in his career, only so far he can go.

Yesterday evening Wale had a free concert at The Highline Ballroom for the Release of "Ambition" and I got to attend. It was super crazy, people were trying to get in, but only so many could fit in that small venue! I'm just glad I arrived at the time I did because 20 minutes after I got there the line was mad long. What I didn't know would happen was that there would be people showing up and not having a ticket which was a whole other line. I was there for 3 hours waiting to get in and when I did I was super excited! The show was dope because he brought out NeYo, Miguel and Meek Mill to perform and Rick Ross was there showing support. The song that everyone wanted to hear the most was "Bait", but for me any song from him was cool with me. I enjoyed my self so much, I got to see Wale live!

Rihanna "We Found Love"

Love this video and the message she is displaying of a relationship going through the up's and down of love and it bringing on substance abuse and stuff which is what goes on today in most relationships. The styling of the video is what I am drawn to the most like her clothing and the graphics of the video. Also Check out British model Dudley O'Shaughnessy!
